Meadowlarks (2025) is a drama directed by Tasha Hubbard that follows four Cree siblings in their fifties who meet for the first time over a weekend in Banff after being separated during Canada's Sixties Scoop. Based on the documentary Birth of a Family, the film explores their emotional, often tense journey to reconcile, build a shared identity, and heal from the trauma of forced adoption.
