EMPRESS THEATRE CLASSES
Starting in January 2026 the Empress Theatre will begin to offer theatre classes for youth. There are two classes for two age groups. Check them out below. They’re gonna be killer!
PETER PAN – AN ADVENTURE TO NEVERLAND AWAITS!
Ages 7–11
January 10 – April 4 - Saturdays - 10 AM–12 PM
This winter, fly away with the Empress Theatre’s brand-new children’s program, EDVENTUROUS THEATRE TROUPE, as we reimagine J. M. Barrie’s beloved classic in a way only kids can! Step into a world of fairies, mermaids, pirates, and a crocodile who can’t quite keep quiet.
In this program, you’ll:
Take off to Neverland with Peter, Tinkerbell, and the Lost Kids.
Learn stage skills through play, teamwork, and imagination.
Become bold pirates, magical fairies, and heroic adventurers.
Bring to life Captain Hook, Smee, and that ever-ticking crocodile in a story filled with excitement, mischief, and wonder.
Whether you’re new to the stage or already love performing, this program is your chance to explore your creativity, build confidence, and help tell one of the most magical stories ever written.

THE HOLY GRAIL - THE QUEST FOR COMEDY AWAITS!
Ages 12-17
January 10 - April 4 - Saturdays - 1PM-3PM
This fall, join us at the Empress Theatre’s new Teen Program, MAGNETIC THEATRE for a one-of-a-kind reimagining adventure into the legendary (and utterly ridiculous) world of brave knights and monstrously dreaded killer animals. Come meet the neighboring Knights from the country forest and the welcoming castles. With satire alive and well in Fort MacLeod, this is not your average medieval tale.
In this program, you’ll:
• Step into the absurd shoes of King Arthur and his band of not-so-brave knights.
• Learn the art of physical comedy, timing, and improv.
• Build confidence on stage while working with a group of creative, like-minded teens.
• Bring to life one of the funniest stories ever told — complete with outrageous characters, over-the-top battles, and absolute mayhem.
Whether you’re a seasoned performer or brand new to theatre, this program is your chance to take the stage, make people laugh, and maybe even find your own Holy Grail.
